Hotel rating
The more stars, the more upscale, better services a hotel provides. However, few people would be able to tell right away exactly what differences a property can make if it is two- or even four-star.
When you want to book accommodation, it is very useful to know at least in broad terms how the levels of each category differ, as this way you can consider exactly whether it is worth paying more for a place with more stars for you, or if the higher price includes all the services that you would not use anyway.
Hotels are classified at different levels from one to five stars according to the Hotelstars Union's uniform set of requirements for each category. This means that for the participating countries, you will find the same level of comfort, the same services in all facilities, internationally. At least in principle.
